He was born on 28th September, 1966 in Kothapalli, Vishakhapatnam district. He started his film career with the Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer Tollywood film Badri in the year 2000 which achieved huge success at the box office . He achieved prestigious Nandi awards for the films “Itlu Sravani Subrahmanyam” and “Neninthe.” .At present he is busy directing the film Cameraman gangatho rambabu casting powerstar in the lead role. Puri Jagannath who is a versatile director in the Tollywood indusstry who had given a record breaking hit with POKIRI in the year 2006.He is the man who have his separate school of direction.He is master in the designing the character of Hero.
