ZEE5 Announces New Telugu Original Series MEMU COP’ULAM
Telugu ZEE5 has officially announced its upcoming original web series MEMU COP’ULAM, which will stream soon on the platform. The series is expected to entertain audiences with a fun mix of comedy, mystery, and village drama.
The title announcement grabbed attention online after the makers released a special promotional video featuring Getup Srinu and Jaffar. The video quickly went viral on social media and created strong buzz around the series.
MEMU COP’ULAM is produced by B. V. S. Ravi and Kaumudi K. Nemani under the RAW Entertainments banner, in association with Pradeep Maddali Creative. The series is directed by Pradeep Maddali, who earlier directed Vikkatakavi, while the story is written by Shoban Chittuprolu.
The series features a strong cast led by Naga Babu Konidela, along with Getup Srinu and Ravi Teja Nannimala in key roles.
Set in a colorful Godavari village during Sankranti celebrations, the story follows two police officers who receive their first major case. Though they are highly confident, their investigations lead to hilarious misunderstandings, funny suspects, and complete chaos in the village. What starts as a small issue slowly turns into a full-on comedy adventure.
Speaking about the series, Naga Babu Konidela said he was happy to reunite with Telugu ZEE5 after Paruvu. He shared that the village backdrop, relatable characters, and honest storytelling made the project special for him, and he is excited for audiences to watch the show soon.
With its rural backdrop, entertaining humour, and relatable characters, MEMU COP’ULAM promises to be another interesting addition to Telugu ZEE5’s lineup of original content.
