The team behind the blockbuster Saiyaara is coming together once again for a new romantic film. Director Mohit Suri, producer Akshaye Widhani of Yash Raj Films, and lead pair Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are reuniting for an intense love story filled with emotional depth and soulful music.
Saiyaara was a massive success, becoming one of the biggest romantic films in Indian cinema. It earned around ₹338 crore nett in India and nearly ₹580 crore worldwide. The film’s music also became hugely popular, staying on top of streaming charts for a long time.
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda won hearts with their chemistry in Saiyaara, especially among Gen Z audiences. Fondly called “Ahneet” by fans, the duo is all set to recreate their magic on screen once again.
Director Mohit Suri shared that love stories have always been close to his heart. He said this film will explore deep emotions and intense relationships, and reuniting with the same team feels special and exciting.
Producer Akshaye Widhani added that their collaboration is driven by a shared passion for storytelling and music that connects with audiences. He expressed excitement about working again with Mohit Suri and bringing back the popular pair Ahaan and Aneet.
The film is expected to go on floors later this year and is aiming for a worldwide theatrical release in 2027.
