Chintamani Sontha Katha Movie Launched Grandly
The film “Chintamani Sontha Katha”, starring Sriram and Mahima Gupta in lead roles, has been officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. The movie is directed by Prem Raj and produced under the Mithra Movie Makers banner by B. Rajeev Kumar, Rakesh Karre, Dr. N.V. Rao, and Srinivas Pasupuleti.
MLC and Government Chief Whip Dr. Addanki Dayakar attended the event as the chief guest and gave the first clap. Retired GHMC Assistant Commissioner Vandan Kumar switched on the camera, while social activist Dr. Srinivas directed the first shot. Actor Kasi Viswanath and writer Nivas handed over the script to the director.
Producer B. Rajeev Kumar said this is their second film under Mithra Movie Makers and expressed confidence in the strong story narrated by director Prem Raj. He added that the lead pair perfectly suits the film and that they aim to produce one film every year.
Dr. N.V. Rao shared that their banner was started to make meaningful films and expressed happiness about collaborating with an experienced director like Prem Raj. He assured the film will be completed and released soon.
Producer Rakesh Karre confidently compared the film’s success to CSK’s IPL victories, stating that the movie is a promising crime thriller with good music.
Director Prem Raj said this is his fourth film and, unlike his previous message-oriented movies, this one is a commercial crime thriller. He revealed that the film blends crime, suspense, emotional drama between husband and wife, and youth-centric elements. The movie will release in Telugu and Hindi, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Lyricist Mittapalli Surender said he is happy to work alongside Suddala Ashok Teja and Chandrabose, adding that songs will have strong importance in the film.
Mahima Gupta, making her Telugu debut, expressed happiness about working with Sriram and thanked the team for the opportunity.
Actor Kasi Viswanath said the story is strong and the film will offer a mix of suspense, crime, and family drama.
Hero Sriram stated that he treats every film like his first and is confident that “Chintamani Sontha Katha” will be a meaningful crime thriller with twists, emotions, and action. He also praised the passionate efforts of the entire team.
