‘Daughter of Prasad Rao’ Team Celebrates Blockbuster Success with 100 Million Streaming Minutes

The ZEE5 Telugu web series “Daughter of Prasad Rao”, starring Rajeev Kanakala, Udaya Bhanu, Vasanthika, and Sriram Venkat, has become a big hit soon after its release. Produced by K.V. Sriram under the South India Screens banner and directed by Krishna Poluru, the series began streaming on February 27 on ZEE5.

Within just one week of its release, the series achieved 100 million streaming minutes, marking it as a blockbuster on the platform. To celebrate this milestone, the team organized a Blockbuster Success Meet on Thursday, where the cast and crew shared their happiness about the response.

Rajeev Kanakala

Rajeev Kanakala said he feels fortunate to be part of such a meaningful series. He praised the performances of the entire cast and said achieving 100 million streaming minutes is not a small achievement. He also appreciated Udaya Bhanu’s powerful performance and thanked director Krishna Poluru for bringing out such a strong story. Rajeev added that the whole team worked hard to make the series successful and thanked the audience for their tremendous support.

Producer Sriram Venkat said the series highlights the communication gap between today’s parents and children, which makes the story relatable to many families.
