Vijay Deverakonda to Rock a Full-Fledged Mass Role in ‘Rowdy Janardhana’
Vijay Deverakonda is all set to entertain audiences in a powerful mass avatar with his upcoming film Rowdy Janardhana. The film is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner and is directed by young and talented filmmaker Ravi Kiran Kola. Designed as a rural action drama, the movie is being planned as a large-scale pan-India project.
The title glimpse of Rowdy Janardhana was launched today in Hyderabad amid loud cheers from Vijay Deverakonda’s fans, creating strong buzz around the film.
Production Designer Dino Shankar shared that director Ravi Kiran approached him with a clear and grand vision. He said the title glimpse is just a small sample of what’s coming and promised much more exciting content ahead.
Cinematographer Anand C Chandran said the team has many surprising visuals planned and that the audience will soon get to see more from the film.
Director Ravi Kiran Kola said working with Vijay Deverakonda is a privilege and revealed that Vijay immediately connected with the character during the narration. He praised Vijay’s dedication, especially his command over the East Godavari dialect, calling it authentic and impressive. Ravi Kiran added that the team has completed workshops and is preparing for an intense eight-minute sequence on the very first day of shoot.
Dil Raju on Vijay’s Mass Avatar
Producer Dil Raju said that Rowdy Janardhana will show Vijay Deverakonda in a never-before-seen mass role. While Vijay is known for youthful and romantic films, this movie will present him as a raw, intense, and blood-soaked mass character set in the 1980s.
He also highlighted that Vijay speaking in the East Godavari dialect adds a unique and powerful flavor to the film. Dil Raju expressed confidence in director Ravi Kiran Kola and said the film is planned for a grand theatrical release next year.
