Missterious – A New Suspense Thriller Ready to Grip Audiences
Producer Jay Vallamdas Shares Insights
The upcoming suspense thriller Missterious stars Rohit in the lead role, with Abid Bhushan playing a police officer. Riya Kapoor and Meghana Rajput appear in key roles. Directed by Mahi Komati Reddy, the film is produced by Jay Vallamdas under the banner Ashli Creations.
The movie is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on the 19th of this month. Speaking at a media interaction held today, producer Jay Vallamdas spoke about the film and its journey.
Producer Jay Vallamdas Says:
We are very happy with the response received for the promotional content of Missterious. Though I live in the US, my interest in cinema brought me to Tollywood. I wanted to introduce my friend Mahi Komati Reddy as a director, and when he narrated the story, I instantly liked it.
This is my first film as a producer, and I am satisfied that we have made a strong suspense thriller with an engaging storyline. The title itself has been well received. Originally, the film was planned for release on the 12th, but due to Akhanda 2, we decided to postpone it to the 19th. The film will release in over 150 theatres worldwide.
Missterious offers a fresh cinematic experience with an innovative screenplay and gripping suspense. The Censor Board appreciated the film and awarded it a U/A certificate, mentioning that it is a different kind of attempt. Every character in the movie appears suspicious, keeping the audience guessing till the end.
The story unfolds through a conflict-driven narrative, revealing clues one after another. The last 20 minutes will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The film has several twists, strong action sequences, and thrilling moments that will appeal especially to fans of suspense thrillers.
We ensured high production values and did not compromise on quality, even though the budget went beyond our initial plan. The film has three songs composed by ML Raja, and all of them have turned out well. The song ‘Adugu Aduguna’, which highlights the importance of the police force, was released by City Police Commissioner CV Anand Garu and is receiving a good response.
We are grateful to Brahmanandam Garu for attending our pre-release event and encouraging our team. Most of our cast and crew are newcomers, and they worked with great dedication. We sincerely hope the Telugu audience supports and encourages this young team. After Missterious, we are planning to produce more films in Tollywood.
