Virgin Boys Success: Producer Files Complaint Against Fake Negative Reviews

“Virgin Boys” Success Meet Celebrated Amid Strong Audience Response – Producer Takes Legal Action Against Defamatory YouTube Channels

Raj Guru Entertainments’ latest film Virgin Boys, directed by Dayanand and produced by Raja Darpuneni, hit the screens on July 11 and has received a strong and positive response from audiences. Starring Mitra Sharma, Geethanand, Srihan, Jennifer, Ronith, Anshula, Bablu, and Kaushal, the youthful entertainer is winning hearts across theatres.

To celebrate the success, the film’s team held a grand success meet with the media, featuring a cake-cutting ceremony and emotional speeches from the team.

Producer Raja Darpuneni Speaks Out

At the event, producer Raja Darpuneni thanked the audience for their support and addressed challenges the film has faced online.

I visited several theatres and was overwhelmed by the response. We are grateful for the love. Unfortunately, a few individuals are trying to damage the film’s reputation under the guise of media,” he said.

The producer specifically mentioned a person named Poola Chokka Naveen, accusing him of demanding money and launching a smear campaign when denied.

“He tried to extort money from us. When we refused, he and a few YouTube channels started spreading false and negative reviews, even before the release. We've filed complaints with the Film Chamber and police. I urge the audience not to believe such false propaganda,” Darpuneni stated.

Director Dayanand thanked the audience and clarified doubts around the film’s title.

“Many judged the film by its title. But once they watched it, the feedback has been amazing. We are very thankful. At the same time, we’re taking legal action against those spreading hate and making personal attacks on our team,” he said.

Lead actor Geethanand said, “We’ve worked hard on this film. I hope the audience continues to support honest efforts, especially by newcomers.”

Srihan, who made his big-screen debut, added, “Seeing myself on screen for the first time is unforgettable. Thank you to everyone. Since the film is rated ‘A’, I request parents not to bring children. Please keep supporting us.”
