“To the industry that gave me life, and to the man who trusted me  I will always stand by them,” said Pawan Kalyan, setting the tone for an emotional address that struck a chord with everyone present.

A Tribute to A.M. Ratnam

Calling him a "visionary who elevated regional cinema to a national scale," Pawan Kalyan recalled how A.M. Ratnam garu transformed the South Indian film landscape. From distributing Tamil films in Telugu with straight-film success to producing mega blockbusters, Ratnam garu’s legacy is etched into Indian cinema.

Before I even entered the industry, I dreamt of working with someone like him,” Pawan revealed. “Even when I got busy with politics, he approached me with this film  and I gave it everything I had.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu  A Battle Behind the Scenes

The historical epic, set in the 17th century, chronicles a fictional journey involving the Kohinoor diamond and a warrior who stands for Dharma. Co-directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krishna, and produced under Mega Surya Productions by A. Dayakar Rao, the film also stars Nidhhi Agerwal and Bobby Deol.

This movie was a war  not just onscreen, but offscreen too. COVID, financial constraints, and countless delays tested our spirit. But the fire in Ratnam garu’s eyes never faded. That’s why I stood by him,” Pawan said.

He also revealed that despite his political commitments, he dedicated 57 days in peak summer to shoot the climactic sequence, even designing and choreographing the martial arts-heavy fight himself. “It’s the soul of the film,” he added.

I usually avoid talking about films. It’s not ego, just discomfort. But I couldn’t stay silent for this one,” Pawan said honestly. “This film must live. This isn’t just about box office or success. It’s about loyalty. When someone like Ratnam garu who once had everyone lining up to work with him  struggles, we must stand by him. That’s what this industry means to me.”

In an emotional note, he praised all those who worked relentlessly: “Manoj Paramahamsa, Keeravaani garu, Jyothi Krishna, and Nidhhi Agerwal  they sacrificed sleep for this film. So did I.”

And with conviction, he declared: “I’m here. This film is not abandoned. If I can fight for the people, I can fight for my cinema too.”

Jyothi Krishna on the Power of Veeramallu

Director Jyothi Krishna shared his admiration for Pawan Kalyan’s intensity and vision:

He choreographed a 20-minute action episode, and it took Keeravaani garu 10 days to compose just for that sequence. It tells a story in itself. That’s when I realized the Veeramallu Pawan Kalyan envisioned was far beyond what we imagined.”

Set during the Mughal era, the film imagines a fierce battle between Aurangzeb and the valiant Veeramallu. Jyothi Krishna added, “We’ve worked without a single day off. This is a dream forged by Ratnam garu’s belief and Pawan garu’s dedication.”

Nidhhi Agerwal on Her Special Journey

Actress Nidhhi Agerwal expressed gratitude for being part of the film:

Working with Pawan Kalyan garu is an honour I’ll always cherish. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is incredibly close to my heart. I thank Ratnam garu for this opportunity, and Jyothi Krishna garu for bringing it to life so beautifully. We poured our hearts into this film, and I hope the audience feels it too
