Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej Launches Mayasabha Trailer, Extends Best Wishes to the Team
Mayasabha should create wonders, said Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej, gracing the trailer launch of Sony LIV’s gripping new Telugu original Mayasabha: Rise of the Titans. With the series all set to stream from August 7, the trailer launch event witnessed heartfelt speeches, creative nostalgia, and immense excitement from the entire cast and crew.
Sai Dharam Tej recalled his decade-long connection with director Deva Katta, dating back to Autonagar Surya and later culminating in their powerful collaboration on Republic.
Deva Garu once told me he wrote a story big enough for three films. That story is now Mayasabha. I’m thrilled to see this vision come alive, he said. Tej also shared fun memories of co-star Chaitanya Rao, humorously calling him a "villain" in his personal life because his mother started asking about marriage after watching 30 Weds 21.
Director Deva Katta Opens Up
Renowned for his thought-provoking narratives, Deva Katta gave an emotional insight into the origins of Mayasabha:
It began with a simple concept—what happens when two best friends are torn apart by circumstances. But it grew into something far bigger, rooted in political realities and emotional truths.
He credited Sri Harsha for planting the seed by discussing Andhra Pradesh politics, and spoke highly of his long-time collaborators Kiran Jay Kumar, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and the massive 264-member cast and crew who brought this project to life.

Divya Dutta, making her Telugu debut, said:

Music director Shakthi Kanth Karthick called this project his second collaboration with Sony LIV after Brinda and described the score as deeply rooted in emotion and politics.
I’ve given my best to match the intensity of the story.
Cinematographer Suresh, editor KL Praveen, and production designer Kamesh were also lauded for creating a rich visual and narrative tapestry.
Produced by Sri Harsha and Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni under Hitman & Prudous Productions LLP, and co-directed by Kiran Jay Kumar, Mayasabha explores the fragile bond between two friends set against the backdrop of 1990s Andhra Pradesh politics.
With a powerful ensemble cast including Sai Kumar, Nasser, Divya Dutta, Charitha Varma, Ravindra Vijay, and Srikanth Iyengar, Mayasabha is poised to be a landmark series in Telugu digital storytelling.
