Naveen Chandra’s ‘Showtime’ Trailer Launched – A Promising Thriller with a Dash of Comedy
Speaking at the event, actor Srinivas Gavireddy expressed his happiness at being part of the film. He praised the fresh storyline and the performances of the entire cast. “It’s different, and audiences will definitely enjoy it,” he said.
Veteran actor Raja Ravindra shared that whether it’s a small film or a big one, it’s the strength of the concept that matters. He thanked director Madan for giving him an impactful role.
Director Madan Dakshinamoorthy thanked producer Kishore Garikipati and the entire team. “A senior person in the industry watched the film and called it the ‘real Showtime’ that gave me the confidence that audiences will love it,” he shared.
Music composer Dhamu highlighted Shekar Chandra’s brilliant score and said that every technician gave their best. He described Naveen Chandra as a talented actor and hoped the film brings him more recognition.
Director Anil Vishwanath (of Polimera fame) spoke about working with both Naveen Chandra and Kamakshi Bhaskarla in his previous films. He noted how both actors had recently received Best Actor awards at the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival, and now they’re sharing the screen together which adds an exciting angle to Showtime.
Actress Kamakshi Bhaskarla thanked the team for the opportunity. “Though it’s a small film, the content is powerful,” she said. Calling Naveen Chandra an incredible performer, she expressed her joy at working with someone she admires.
Lead actor Naveen Chandra spoke with genuine emotion, saying that while making a good film brings excitement, it also comes with nervousness. “Director Madan made the process enjoyable. Our DOP Vinod, editor Sharath, music director Shekar Chandra, and production designer Supriya everyone worked with passion. Raja Ravindra and Naresh were fantastic to collaborate with, and the child actors truly brought something special to the film,” he said.
He especially thanked Anil Sunkara for backing the project. “When he believes in something, you know it’s special. For me, cinema is everything. I only want to be part of films that audiences will connect with. Showtime will definitely be one of those. On July 4, I’ll be watching it with you all,” he added. He also praised Kamakshi, saying she’s a remarkable talent the entire nation will soon talk about.
The trailer has already received a warm response from audiences online. With engaging storytelling, thrilling moments, and laugh-out-loud comedy, Showtime is shaping up to be a complete entertainer that promises to connect with all sections of the audience.
