The much-awaited GAMA Awards 2025 – 5th Edition is all set to dazzle Dubai on August 30th at the grand Sharjah Expo Centre. Organized by Keinfra Properties, this prestigious event celebrating Telugu cinema has created a buzz across the industry and among fans worldwide.

As a part of the pre-event celebrations, the official theme song of the GAMA 5th Edition was launched on Saturday in Dubai. The launch was part of the Keinfra Properties event and was graced by members of the Telugu community in the UAE. The song, written by Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose, struck an emotional chord with its powerful and poetic words. Composer-singer Raghu Kunche not only scored the music but also gave a soulful live performance at the launch.

Following the success of the past four editions, the GAMA Awards return with even bigger plans this year. On August 29th, a day ahead of the main awards ceremony, the GAMA Excellence Awards will be presented to notable individuals across various fields, recognizing their contributions and achievements.

The main event on August 30th will be a star-studded affair with Tollywood actors like Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Teja Sajja, Kiran Abbavaram, Sree Vishnu, and Roshan attending. Actresses Meenakshi Chaudhary and Daksha Nagarkar, along with glamorous performers such as Urvashi Rautela, Ketika Sharma, Faria Abdullah, Priya Hegde, and Sridevi, will add glitter to the evening with exclusive dance performances.

Several big names from the Telugu film industry are expected to attend, including legendary actor Brahmanandam, directors Sukumar, Buchi Babu Sana, Bobby, Sai Rajesh, music directors Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman, producers Ashwini Dutt and DVV Danayya, and many more. Surprise entries from top stars are also on the cards, adding to the anticipation.

The GAMA Awards will honor excellence in all 24 crafts of Telugu cinema, with winners chosen through public voting for films released in 2024. The event aims to celebrate the entire creative spectrumfrom acting and direction to music and technical brilliancemaking it one of the most inclusive award platforms.

A recent pre-launch event in Dubai received a great response. Tickets for the 5th edition were unveiled at a women-led launch event at Maitri Farm, symbolizing empowerment and inclusivity.

GAMA Awards Chairman Trimurtulu stated, “This is the only large-scale Tollywood celebration hosted in Dubai, and we’re proud to bring it back for the 5th time. We invite all Telugu people to come together and make this edition even more memorable.”

CEO Saurabh Kesari added, “We’re ready to host over 10,000 people at the Sharjah Expo Centre. It will be an unforgettable evening with breathtaking performances, emotional moments, and grand celebrations.”

The 4th edition saw 42 award categories recognizing films from 2021 to 2023. RRR bagged the Movie of the Decade, while Allu Arjun, Nikhil Siddhartha, and Anand Deverakonda took home Best Actor honors for their respective years.

With grandeur, glitz, and a galaxy of stars, the GAMA Awards 2025 promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Telugu cinema on a global stage.
