Dream Trio Returns: Mohit Suri Promises a Soul-Stirring Dhun in Saiyaara

When Mithoon, Arijit, and I come together, people expect magic!” – Mohit Suri on the trio’s next song, Dhun, from Saiyaara

The dream team of Arijit Singh, Mithoon, and Mohit Suri is back with Dhun, the next big track from Saiyaara, releasing tomorrow! This trio has given Bollywood timeless hits like Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2, and director Mohit Suri loves how fans eagerly wait for their new songs.

Mohit shares, “They say when stars align, magic happens. I feel lucky to have worked with Mithoon and Arijit, two extraordinary artists who have helped me create my best music.”

Mohit and Mithoon have been creating music together since 2005, starting with films like Zeher and Kalyug. Over 20 years, they’ve delivered iconic songs in movies such as Murder 2, Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Half Girlfriend, Malang, and now Saiyaara. “Whenever Mithoon and I collaborate, people expect something special from us. That expectation pushes us to go the extra mile,” says Mohit.

Talking about working with Arijit Singh, Mohit says, “Arijit has given me memories I’ll cherish forever. From Tum Hi Ho, Chahun Main Ya Naa, Hum Mar Jayenge in Aashiqui 2 to Humdard in Ek Villain, and more – these songs are very close to my heart.”

Mohit knows fans are excited whenever this trio reunites. He says, “When Mithoon, Arijit, and I team up, people look forward to a song that touches their hearts. We love that pressure. Dhun is a song that’s very special to us.”

About Dhun, Mohit explains, “It’s a song about the struggles of love and life, and how those struggles give us the strength to keep going. Life is full of challenges, and Dhun celebrates the spirit of never giving up. We hope everyone connects with it.”

Saiyaara is one of the most awaited romantic films of the year, bringing together Yash Raj Films and Mohit Suri for the first time. The film stars debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who have been praised for their chemistry and performances.

The album of Saiyaara is already a huge hit, with all its songs – Saiyaara, Jubin Nautiyal’s Barbaad, Vishal Mishra’s Tum Ho Toh, and Sachet-Parampara’s Humsafar – ruling the music charts.

The film’s title, Saiyaara, which means a wandering star, has also captured the audience’s imagination, symbolizing something dazzling and out of reach.

Produced by YRF’s CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara is set to hit theatres worldwide on July 18, 2025.
