Subham is a horror comedy directed by Praveen Kandregula and produced by Samantha Ruth Prabhu under her new banner, Tra La La Moving Pictures. After his successful debut with Cinema Bandi, Praveen brings another fresh and unique story to the big screen. The film features an ensemble cast and is set for a grand release on May 9. The music is composed by Clinton Cerejo 

Story


Subham is a funny horror story about three couples who get into trouble because of their obsession with TV serials. Their daily lives start changing in strange ways, and weird things begin to happen around them.

At first, they think it's just their personal issues. But soon, they realize that the whole town is affected by something strange. The film mixes comedy and horror as the couples try to figure out what's going on and how to escape from it.

How they solve the mystery and come out of the spooky mess forms the rest of the story

Performances

The cast delivers natural and convincing performances. Harshith, Shriya Kontham, Charan Peri, Shalini Kondepudi, Srinivas Gavireddy, Shravani Lakshmi, and Vamshidhar Goud all do a commendable job in their respective roles. Each actor adds depth and humor to the story. Samantha Ruth Prabhu appears in a cameo, and her presence adds a nice surprise and fits well into the narrative.

Technical Aspects

Praveen Kandregula’s direction is confident and creative. Production Values are Perfect  .music by Clinton Cerejo and Vivek Sagar complements the mood of the film well. Dialogues are Good The cinematography captures the tone and atmosphere effectively. Editing could have been tighter in a few parts, but overall, the technical work supports the film’s vision nicely.

Verdict
Subham is a refreshing and entertaining horror comedy with solid performances and a meaningful message. Despite a few minor lags, the film succeeds in delivering a fun and emotional ride. It marks a strong start for Samantha’s production journey and proves once again that Praveen Kandregula is a director to watch.
