Actress Nabha Natesh has shared her heartfelt reaction to the recent terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Saddened by the tragic incident, Nabha condemned the act as “heinous” and extended her condolences to the victims and their families.
Speaking about her emotional connection to Pahalgam, Nabha said, “Pahalgam is such a beautiful and peaceful place. I had the opportunity to shoot for my film Darling there. We filmed across several stunning locations over a 5-kilometer stretch. It truly felt like heaven on earth.”
Nabha recalled her experience shooting her first solo song in Kashmir. “The song portrayed me as an independent girl traveling across the country. We shot in Pahalgam and other nearby places for about a week. The scenic beauty and serenity made it a magical experience.”
She also praised the local community for their support and hospitality during the shoot. “The people were incredibly kind and friendly. Many visited our sets and interacted with us. I even tried to understand some Kashmiri while talking to them,” she smiled.
“The locals told us how much they rely on tourism for their livelihood. They were eager to make us feel at home. My director encouraged me to interact with the kids, and he captured some candid moments. Shooting in such a mesmerizing location with such warm people was truly special.”
Ending on a somber note, Nabha said, “It’s heartbreaking to hear about violence in a place that represents peace and beauty. I hope the region finds peace again, and filmmakers don’t shy away from capturing its true charm.”
