Siva Balaji and Raasi are at loggerheads with each other. The reason is Siva Balaji’s two-year-old son returned home from his play school (run by Raasi) with scratch marks on his face and when his wife Madhumitha called the actress, she brushed it off as a casual incident and even went on to admonish her to “behave like educated people”.The angry actor posted pictures of his child with the scratch marks on a microblogging site and slammed the school for its irresponsible behaviour. “I called to check what happened and nobody was willing to take any responsibility. Is this how you run a play school?” the actor asked.
When contacted, Raasi said, “I made those comments because Madhumitha was talking disrespectfully. The incident took place in the bus when the kids were returning home. Two kids had a scuffle — that is all that is there to it. I requested them to come to school and talk about it, but they refused to do so and have gone about maligning the school.
There are 70 children in my school and not a single parent has ever had a problem. I challenge the couple to a live debate on TV and I am open to being scrutinised.”
