ప్యాషనేట్ ఎపిక్ ఫిల్మ్ మేక‌ర్ గుణ శేఖ‌ర్ ద‌ర్శ‌క‌త్వంలో రూపొందుతోన్న పౌరాణిక ప్రేమకథా చిత్రం ‘శాకుంతలం’. ఈ ఎపిక్ లవ్ స్టోరీలో సమంత, దేవ్ మోహన్ జంటగా నటించారు. ఈ విజువల్ వండర్ ప్ర‌పంచ వ్యాప్తంగా ఏప్రిల్ 14న రిలీజ్ అవుతుంది. పోస్ట్ ప్రొడ‌క్ష‌న్ కార్య‌క్ర‌మాలు పూర్త‌య్యాయి.  కాళిదాసు ర‌చించిన అభిజ్ఞాన శాకుంతలం ఆధారంగా శాకుంత‌లంను రూపొందిస్తున్నారు గుణ శేఖ‌ర్‌. శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వ‌ర‌క క్రియేష‌న్స్ దిల్ రాజు స‌మ‌ర్ప‌ణ‌లో గుణ టీమ్ వ‌ర్క్స్ బ్యానర్‌పై నీలిమ గుణ ఈ  పాన్ ఇండియా చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. 3D టెక్నాల‌జీతో విజువ‌ల్ వండ‌ర్‌గా  తెలుగు, హిందీ, త‌మిళ‌, హిందీ, మ‌ల‌యాళ భాష‌ల్లో శాకుంత‌లం సినిమా ప్రేక్ష‌కుల‌ను అల‌రించ‌నుంది. మంగళవారం ఈ సినిమా త్రీడీ ట్రైలర్‌ను చిత్ర యూనిట్ విడుద‌ల చేసింది. ఈ సంద‌ర్బంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన పాత్రికేయుల స‌మావేశంలో.. 

చిత్ర నిర్మాత నీలిమ గుణ మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘సమంతగారు ఈ 3D ట్రైల‌ర్ లాంచ్ ఈవెంట్‌కి రావాల్సింది. కానీ రాలేక‌పోయారు. అయితే ఆమె మ‌న‌సంతా ఇక్క‌డే ఉంది. శాకుంత‌లం సినిమాను 3D టెక్నాల‌జీలోకి మార్చాల‌నే ఆలోచన దిల్‌రాజుగారిదే. అందుకు ఆయ‌న‌కు స్పెష‌ల్ థాంక్స్‌. ఇప్పుడు త్రీడీ ట్రైల‌ర్ చూస్తుంటే ఆయ‌న ఆలోచ‌న ఎంత గొప్ప‌దో అర్థ‌మ‌వుతుంది. మ‌న మైథాల‌జీని ఇలా త్రీడీలో సినిమా చేయ‌టం ఇదే తొలిసారి అనుకుంటా. మ‌న సంస్కృతిని సెల‌బ్రేట్ చేసుకుంటున్నాం. 3Dలో శాకుంతలం సినిమాను ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తార‌ని ఆశిస్తున్నాను. ఏప్రిల్ 14 కోసం ఎగ్జ‌యిట్‌మెంట్‌తో వెయిట్ చేస్తున్నాను’’ అన్నారు. 

ఎడిట‌ర్ ప్ర‌వీణ్ పూడి మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘శాకుంత‌లం సినిమా 3Dలోనూ రాబోతుంది. ట్రైల‌ర్ అంద‌రికీ న‌చ్చి ఉంటుంద‌ని అనుకుంటున్నాను. సినిమా చాలా బాగా వ‌చ్చింది. అంద‌రూ మూవీని బాగా ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారు’’ అన్నారు. 

రైటర్ సాయిమాధవ్ బుర్రా మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘‘శాకుంతలం’ వంటి గొప్ప సినిమాకు ప‌ని చేసే అవ‌కాశం వ‌చ్చినందుకు చాలా గ‌ర్వంగా ఫీల్ అవుతున్నాను. ఈ క‌థేంటో మ‌న అంద‌రికీ తెలిసిందే. అయితే గుణ శేఖ‌ర్‌గారు ఈ సినిమాను ఎలా చెబుతారు. టేకాఫ్ ఎలా ఉంటుంది?  అనే క్యూరియాసిటీ క‌లిగింది. అయితే క‌థ విన్న త‌ర్వాత‌ ఆయ‌న టేకాఫ్‌కి థ్రిల్ అయిపోయాను. అంద‌రూ ఊహించిన దాని కంటే విభిన్నంగా ప్ర‌తీ నిమిషం సినిమా బావుంటుంది. ఈ సినిమా న‌వ్విస్తుంది. ఏడిపిస్తుంది. న‌వ్విస్తూ ఏడిస్తుంది. ఆలోచింప చేస్తుంది. ఒక అద్భుత‌మైన సినిమా చూశామ‌నే ఫీలింగ్‌ను మీకు ఇచ్చి థియేట‌ర్స్ నుంచి బ‌య‌ట‌కు తీసుకొస్తుంది. మ‌ళ్లీ మ‌ళ్లీ థియేట‌ర్‌కు వ‌చ్చేలా చేస్తుంది. శ‌కుంత‌లం పాత్ర‌లో స‌మంత అద్భుతంగా న‌టించింది. ఇక దేవ్ మోహ‌న్ కూడా చాలా గొప్ప‌గా న‌టించాడు. మ‌ణిశ‌ర్మ అద్భుత‌మైన సంగీతాన్ని అందించారు. ప్ర‌తీ డిపార్ట్‌మెంట్ నుంచి గుణ శేఖ‌ర్‌గారు మంచి ఔట్‌పుట్ తీసుకున్నారు. నా ఫ‌స్ట్ సినిమాకే నేను దిల్ రాజుగారి ద‌గ్గ‌ర ప‌ని చేయాల్సింది. ఇప్ప‌టికీ కుదిరింది. గేమ్ చేంజర్‌కి కూడా నేను వ‌ర్క్ చేస్తున్నాను. ఇంత మంచి అవ‌కాశం ఇచ్చిన గుణ శేఖ‌ర్‌గారికి, దిల్ రాజుగారికి థాంక్స్‌’’ అన్నారు. 

నిర్మాత దిల్ రాజు మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘సినిమా చరిత్రలో మన తెలుగు సినిమా ఇంతింతై వ‌టుడింతై అనే స్టైల్లో ప్ర‌పంచ వ్యాప్తంగా తెలుగు సినిమా రేంజ్‌ను పెంచుకుంటూ వ‌చ్చేశాం. నేను కూడా నిర్మాత‌గా 50 సినిమాలు చేసేశాను. త‌మిళంలో ఈ ఏడాది వారిసు చేశాను. అలాగే ఇక్క‌డ కూడా బ‌ల‌గం సినిమాతో స‌క్సెస్ కొట్టాం. నెక్ట్స్ గేమ్ చేంజ‌ర్ కూడా రాబోతుంది. ఈ మ‌ధ్య‌లో శాకుంత‌లం సినిమా వ‌స్తుంది. నిజానికి గుణ శేఖ‌ర్‌గారు స‌మంత‌తో ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ అనుకున్న‌ప్పుడు నేను లేను. అయితే స‌మంత మేనేజర్ మ‌హేంద్ వ‌చ్చి ఇలా సినిమా అనుకుంటున్నారు సార్‌.. మీరు క‌థ వింటే బావుంటుందన్నారు. స‌రేన‌ని క‌థ విన్నాను. అంద‌రూ నేను గుణ శేఖ‌ర్‌గారికి హెల్ప్ చేయ‌టానికి ఈ సినిమాలో జాయిన్ అయ్యాన‌ని అంద‌రూ అనుకున్నారు. కానీ నేను సెల్ఫిష్‌గా ఈ సినిమాలో జాయిన్ అయ్యాను. ఎందుకంటే ఇప్పుడు తెలుగు సినిమా గ్లోబల్ రేంజ్‌కు చేరుకుంది. అలాంటి గ్లోబ‌ల్ సినిమా గురించి నేర్చుకోవ‌టానికే నేను శాకుంత‌లంలో జాయిన్ అయ్యాను. వి.ఎఫ్‌.ఎక్స్ గురించి నేర్చుకోవాల‌నే ఉద్దేశంతోనే నేను ఇందులో పార్ట్ అయ్యాను. సాధార‌ణంగా ఇలాంటి సినిమాల్లో నిర్మాత‌ల‌కు పెద్ద‌గా ప‌ని ఉండ‌దు. కానీ నేను మాత్రం గుణ శేఖ‌ర్‌గారికి హెల్ప్ కావాలి. నేను కూడా నేర్చుకోవాల‌ని జాయిన్ అయ్యాను. బాహుబ‌లితో తెలుగు సినిమాను పాన్ ఇండియా రేంజ్‌కు తీసుకెళ్లిన రాజ‌మౌళి ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్‌తో దాన్ని ప్ర‌పంచ స్థాయికి తీసుకెళ్లాడు. అలాగే తెలుగు సినిమాల‌ను ఇంకా ప్ర‌పంచానికి చూపిస్తూ ఉండాల‌నే ఉద్దేశంతో నేను వేసిన మొద‌టి అడుగు శాకుంత‌లం.బ్యూటీఫుల్ ఫ్యామిలీ డ్రామా.. విజువ‌ల్ వండ‌ర్‌గా సినిమా తెరెక్కింది. ఓ థియేట‌ర్ ఎక్స్‌పీరియెన్స్ ఇచ్చే సినిమా. ఏప్రిల్ 14న ఫ్యామిలీస్ అంతా క‌లిసి ఎంజాయ్ చేసేలా ఉంటుంది. మ‌న నెక్ట్స్ జ‌న‌రేష‌న్‌కు మ‌న క‌థ తెలియాలి. అందుక‌నే ఈ స‌మ్మ‌ర్‌లో ఏప్రిల్ 14న మా శాకుంత‌లం సినిమాను మీ ముందుకు తీసుకొస్తున్నాం. సినిమా చూసి బ‌య‌ట‌కొచ్చేట‌ప్పుడు అల్లు అర్హ రూపంలో ఓ స‌ర్‌ప్రైజ్ ఉంటుంది. నాకు సినిమా గురించి ఇంకా నేర్పించినందుకు గుణ శేఖ‌ర్‌గారికి థాంక్స్‌. ఈ మూవీ వ్య‌వ‌థి 2 గంట‌ల 19 నిమిషాలు. ఈ టైమ్‌లో ప్రేక్ష‌కుడికి ఎక్క‌డా బోర్ కొట్టించ‌కూడ‌దు. అదే పెద్ద చాలెంజ్‌. దాన్ని మనం ఎచీవ్ చేశాం’’ అన్నారు. 

ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు గుణ శేఖ‌ర్ మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘ఇది స‌మంత‌గారి శాకుంత‌లం. ఆమె ప్రాణం పెట్టి శకుంత‌ల పాత్ర‌కు ప్రాణ ప్ర‌తిష్ట చేశారు. రేపు ఫ‌స్ట్ ఫ్రేమ్ నుంచి చివ‌రి ఫ్రేమ్ వ‌ర‌కు చూస్తారు. ఏప్రిల్ 14న మీరు సినిమా చూసి ఏం మాట్లాడాల‌నుకుంటున్నారో వినాల‌ని ఎదురు చూస్తున్నారు. మ‌హాభారతంలో దుష్యంతుడు, శ‌కుంత‌ల పాత్ర‌లను ఆధారంగా చేసుకుని కాళిదాసుగారు అభిజ్ఞాన శాకుంత‌లం రాశారు. దాన్ని విజువ‌ల్‌గా మీ ముందుకు తీసుకొచ్చే క్ర‌మంలో లింకుల కోసం చిన్న చిన్న ఇంప్ర‌వైజేష‌న్ చేశాం త‌ప్ప‌.. దాదాపు 90 ఒరిజిన‌ల్ క‌థ‌నే సినిమాగా తీశాం. ఇప్పుడు ఆడియెన్స్ అభిరుచులు మామూలుగా లేవు. కంటెంట ప‌రంగా ఆడియెన్స్ మ‌న కంటే చాలా ముందున్నారు. ఆడియెన్స్‌ను ఇంప్రెజ్ చేయ‌ట‌మే నా చాలెంజ్‌. ఏప్రిల్ 14న వ‌స్తున్న ఈ మూవీ త‌న మార్క్ క్రియేట్ చేసుకుంటుంది. \

దిల్‌రాజుగారు నిత్య విద్యార్థి. ప్ర‌తి రోజూ ఆయ‌న కొత్త విష‌యాల‌ను నేర్చుకుంటుంటారు. ఆయ‌న నా ద‌గ్గ‌ర నుంచి ఏం నేర్చుకున్నారో నేను కూడా ఆయ‌న ద‌గ్గ‌ర చాలా విష‌యాలు నేర్చుకున్నాను. ఎందుకంటే ఆయ‌న బ‌లగం సినిమాను నిల‌బెట్ట‌డానికి ట్రాక్ట‌ర్ ఎక్కి ట్రావెల్ అయ్యారు. అలాగే గేమ్ చేంజ‌ర్ సినిమాలో శంక‌ర్‌గారికి ద‌న్నుగా నిల‌బ‌డ్డారు. తెలుగు సినిమా ఈరోజు ఇలాగా వెలిగిపోతుందంటే దిల్‌రాజుగారిలాంటి నిర్మాత‌లే కారణం. స‌మంత‌గారితో ఈ సినిమా చేయాల‌న‌కున్న‌ప్పుడు ఆ ప్రాజెక్ట్‌లో పార్ట్ కావ‌టానికి చాలా మంది నిర్మాత‌లు ఆస‌క్తి చూపించారు. అయితే దిల్ రాజుగారు పార్ట్ అవుతార‌న‌గానే నేను ఆస‌క్తి చూపించాను. అందుకు కార‌ణం మేక‌ర్‌గా ఓ సినిమాను చూసి ఆయ‌న చెప్పేయ‌గ‌ల‌రు. ఆయ‌న‌లాంటి మేక‌ర్‌ను వాడుకోక‌పోతే మా మూర్ఖ‌త్వ‌మే అవుతుంది ఇది. ఆయ‌న ఎగ్జిబిట‌ర్‌, డిస్ట్రిబ్యూట‌ర్‌, నిర్మాత‌. ఆడియెన్స్ ప‌ల్స్ తెలిసిన నిర్మాత‌. ఆయ‌న్ని వాడుకోవాల్సిన అవ‌స‌రం మాకు ఉంది’’ అన్నారు.

యామిని ఫిల్మ్స్ బ్యాన‌ర్‌పై ఈ చిత్రానికి హిందీ, తెలుగు చిత్రీక‌రించి త‌మిళ‌లో అనువాదం చేసి మే 12న ప్ర‌పంచ వ్యాప్తంగా రిలీజ్‌చేస్తున్నారు. హిందీలో పి.వి.ఆర్‌, తెలుగులో దిల్ రాజు ఈ చిత్రాన్ని రిలీజ్ చేస్తున్నారు.

Global Star Ram Charan's birthday bash on Monday was star-studded. While the Mega Power Star is known for his understated approach, the event was planned to be in step with his personality. The hero and his wife, Upasana, played perfect hosts. 

Hosted at Megastar Chiranjeevi’s residence in Hyderabad, it was graced by some of the most happening actors. Among them was Vijay Devarkonda, who admires the 'Rangasthalam' actor a lot. Victory Venkatesh was also present. Charan's long-time friend Rana Daggubati was in attendance along with his wife Miheeka. Among seniors, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Amala were there with Akhil and Nag Chaitanya.

The birthday celebrations of Mega Power Star Ram Charan, who has been called the Global Star, were held on Sunday (March 26) in Hyderabad. The audience see him as a son who is taking forward the legacy of his legendary father and 'Babai'. The event at Shilpa Kala Vedika saw in attendance directors Meher Ramesh, Bobby, Buchi Babu Sana, producers Dil Raju and Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers, actor Sai Dharam Tej and choreographer Prem Rakshith. Naga Babu attended the event as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Naga Babu said that Ram Charan is the first son of five brothers and sisters in the Mega family. "Although he is my elder brother's son, he is like a son to me, to Pawan Kalyan, and my sisters too. Our children see Ram Charan as an elderly figure. If they have any problems, they all go to him first to receive suggestions and advice. Ram Charan has now become a fully evolved person. That's what I like about him. He used to be a bit angry and short-tempered. But now he has become very mature. We are very proud of 'RRR' movie, the Oscar-winning 'Naatu Naatu' song, and to see Ram Charan's image on the Oscars stage. The movie 'Orange' has been re-released on his birthday. I want to donate the collections from it to the Jana Sena Party. I am consciously helping the leader who gave his life to the people with the intention of doing something transformative. When 'Orange' was released originally, I suffered on the financial front. But now, everyone is saying that the movie is so good. It has been running successfully for two days. If the same movie was made now, it would have become a hit for sure," Naga Babu said. As he ended the speech, he asked the crowds to participate in the election process, cast vote, and make others vote.

Dil Raju said that Ram Charan has now risen to the global level. He added that 'Game Changer' has been planned by Shankar on a global scale. "How to satisfy fans and audience is what is our priority. Shankar is preparing a wonderful movie to satisfy the high range," the producer added.

Naveen Yerneni said, "Ram Charan gave his best performance in 'Rangasthalam'. Thanks to him for making such a film under our banner. I want him to celebrate many more birthdays like this."

Sai Dharam Tej greeted the Mega Power Star a happy birthday on behalf of his fans. "Ram Charan has now gone global. His range has changed with 'RRR' movie. I want to see more successes of that sort from him," he added.

Meher Ramesh said, "I saw the preview of the movie 'Chirutha' with Mahesh Babu and NTR. Everyone said that Charan will become a big star and that he is not just about inheriting the legacy of Chiranjeevi garu's dance and action. There is a unique energy in him, everyone felt. When Chiranjeevi garu was in politics, Charan came up with 'Magadheera'. He will also do a Hollywood project. Ram Charan is doing many service-oriented works with his father. For Mega fans, there are three festivals: Chiranjeevi garu's birthday, Pawan Kalyan garu's birthday, and Ram Charan's birthday."

Director Bobby said, "Being the son of someone like Chiranjeevi garu, being a family member of someone like Pawan Kalyan garu is both a fortune and also something that brings pressure in its wake. You have to satisfy fans who expect Megastar's grace and dance moves from you. You have to live up to the legacy of Babai's fighting spirit and the propensity to question injustice. He heaped praises on the Chiranjeevi legacy by saying that records took birth because of him. "No matter how many heroes come and how many hits are made, Chiranjeevi garu is the pioneer," the comedian said, adding that Kollywood actor Ponnabalam was given help to the tune of Rs 40 lakh by the Megastar. He also described Pawan Kalyan as a leader who mobilizes people for change.

Choreographer Prem Rakshith said, "Our journey started with the song 'Bangaru Kodipetta' in 'Magadheera'. And it continues to this day. Ram Charan garu is very good and takes care of everyone very well."

While Sriram Sir clapped the board for the muhurtam shot, Dinesh Chaudhary switched on the camera.

Starring Megha Akash in the female lead role, the film will also feature known actors like Madhunandan, Venkatesh Kakamanu, Shashi, and others in key roles.

 Vennela In Dasara Is A Character Everyone Will Connect To. It Is The Most Challenging In My Career: Keerthy Suresh

Natural Star Nani's Massiest Pan India Entertainer 'Dasara' is one of the most awaited films across the country. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film has received tremendous response to the teaser and songs. The Dussehra trailer trended nationally and increased curiosity about the film. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri on a grand scale under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, the movie has Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. This film will be released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages on March 30th. In this context, Keerthy Suresh shared the special features of Dasara with media.

Tell us about your character in the film.

I played a challenging role in Dasara. It used to take a few hours even for applying and removing make-up. We shot in a rustic background like dust and coal. It was initially difficult yo play a character who speaks Telangana dialect. But I got used to it after a while. My character's name is Vennela. The character Vennela connects to everyone.

How is it talking in Telangana dialect?

Director Srikanth Odela's associate Srinath taught me the Telangana dialect. He is well versed with the accent. There is also a professor who helped me. A lot of small details have also been added. I dubbed myself for Dasara. Usually, I take two or three days for dubbing. But Dasara took five or six days.

You said you got Mahanati vibes while doing Dasara. How did that happen?

There is a feel associated with some films. Even after finishing the movie, we feel an emotional connection with it. It happened for Mahanati previously and now I felt the same for Dasara. 

What is the Homework you did for Dasara?

Director Srikanth Odela has written this story brilliantly. He has a lot of clarity about what character should be. The director thinks the character and the story in one meter. After understanding that meter, I think of how do I want to do it and What does the director want. We understand that and worked on how to build the character.

Did you decrease weight for the film?

Srikanth asked me to decrease 12 Kilos for the film. I told him I can not do that because I am doing other films as well and I will continuity in them. I decreased three Kilos. I reminded him about it later and he said you look authentic even though you did not decrease weight. I took that as a compliment.

Did you anticipate the success of Chamkeela Angeelesi song?

When I heard that song for the first time, I thought that the song will be used in all weddings. The song has that vibe. The lyrics are very beautiful. We thought it would be a big hit. It was a bigger success than we expected.

After Mahanati, there were reports that you will be doing Bollywood projects. But you didn't go. Dasara will now release Pan-India right? Tell us about it.

 

I heard some stories. But it didn't seem like a strong character. Now that Dasara is releasing pan India, we have to see if I will get strong characters. I like doing Bollywood. But first there should be good characters and stories.

Ponniyin Selvan, the magnum opus directed by veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam, is one of the most ambitious projects in Tamil cinema history. The first instalment of the historical drama, which was released in theatres in September 2022, became one of the Tamil film industry’s all-time highest-grossing films.

Now the highly anticipated Ponniyin Selvan 2, the second instalment of historical drama franchise, is set to be released in theatres on April 28, 2023. Bollywood’s popular production house Pen Studios is launching Happening Telugu hero Sreenivas Bellamkonda In Bollywood with the Remake Of Prabhas and Rajamouli’s blockbuster movie Chatrapathi. Star director VV Vinayak who delivered numerous blockbusters is directing Sreenivas’ Bollywood launchpad.

The film has already completed its production works and currently, the post-production works are underway. Today, the makers released the first look poster and also announced the release date. The film is titled Chatrapathi and it will hit the cinemas on May 12th to capitalize on the summer holidays.

In this first-look poster, Sreenivas goes shirtless and looks like a beast, flaunting his chiseled physique. He is seen standing in the water with a copper bowl in one hand, and there are injuries on his back. He wears sacred threads around his neck and on his arm. The posture and the ferocious clouds indicate the aggression of Sreenivas’ character. The first-look poster 

Bellamkonda underwent a tremendous physical transformation to play a power-packed role in this movie. VV Vinayak presents the youngster in an action-packed role. Sreenivas is already one of the biggest stars of digital worldwide as his Khoonkhar (Hindi dubbed movie of Jaya Janaki Nayaka) crossed record 700 millions views.

Known for making critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies, Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios is producing the project, while Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Aksshay Jayantilal Gada of Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment will distribute the movie worldwide. They are making the film on a grand scale without compromising on any budget.

Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story for the original is the writer for the remake version as well. Nizar Ali Shafi who worked for several Telugu and Tamil movies cranked the camera, while Bollywood’s upcoming composer Tanishk Bagchi scores the music.

Anl Arusu oversees action choreography, wherein Sunil Babu who is one of the busiest technicians in India is the production designer. Mayur Puri provides the dialogues for the film.

Global Star Ram Charan's birthday on March 27th (Monday) is going to be a spectacular one for his fans. The Mega Power Star's fans are in for two crucial updates regarding his 15th movie, the much-awaited pan-India release.  

RC15's title will be made official on the versatile action hero's birthday. Besides the big update, the First Look will also be released. 

Sri Venkateswara Creations, which is producing the film on a lavish scale under the direction of celebrated director Shankar, will release the updates at 8:19 AM and 3:06 PM.

Superstar Mahesh Babu's SSMB28, directed by filmmaker Trivikram, is undoubtedly one of the most keenly awaited actor-director collaborations among audiences. The film features Pooja Hegde and Sreeleela as female leads. S.Radha Krishna (China Babu) is producing the entertainer under Haarika and Hassine Creations.

The release date of SSMB28 was confirmed today. The film will hit screens on January 13, 2024. With all the commercial ingredients in the right mix, the project promises to be an ideal festive treat. A special poster, confirming the news, features Mahesh Babu in a brand-new stylish avatar, where he sports a beard and a thin moustache, donning a black shirt and blue jeans, while smoking a cigarette in front of a lorry. 

A series of red chillies are flying mid air as Mahesh Babu arrives and a few men look up to him. The Super Star is at his massy best in the poster. Some of Mahesh Babu’s best films - Okkadu, Sarileru Neekevvaru, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu - released for Sankranthi and the unit promises another memorable outing that has all the makings of a blockbuster and will please his fans. The team is believed to be thrilled with the way the film has been shaping up. 

SSMB28 is the third association between Mahesh Babu and Trivikram, after two much-celebrated films Athadu and Khaleja.
