aha unveils the trailer of Dulquer Salmaan, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Shobana's slice-of-life comedy Parinayam
100% Telugu streaming platform aha, a household name for Telugu entertainment comprising the latest blockbusters and pathbreaking web shows, will premiere a heart-warming, slice-of-life comedy Parinayam on September 24. Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Suresh Gopi, Urvashi and Shobana in key roles, the film is the Telugu version of the Malayalam hit Varane Avashyamund, directed by Anoop Sathyan. The platform had unveiled the trailer of the feel-good, light-hearted entertainer on Wednesday.
The trailer introduces audiences to the film's pivotal characters, including a single mother Neena, her daughter Nikitha and two of their neighbours, a socially awkward Major Unnikrishnan and a happy-go-lucky youngster nicknamed Fraud in the apartment they reside. Parinayam is a story that addresses several pertinent issues in a lighthearted vein, revolving around arranged marriages, conflicts faced by a single parent and the idea of finding love late in life. Set in a middle-class backdrop, the film looks at inter-personal relationships in a new light, sensitively and sensibly, without getting preachy.
Featuring some of the most happening actors in the tinsel town including Dulquer Salmaan and Kalyani Priyadarshan, the film's cast comprises impeccable performers in the form of Suresh Gopi, Shobana, Urvashi, KPAC Lalitha, to name a few. Parinayam is a terrific mix of impressive casting, balanced performances, Alphons Joseph's mellifluous music, picture-perfect yet matured romance and rib-tickling humour. The contributions of cinematographer Mukesh Muraleedharan and editor Toby John go a long way in enhancing the impact of the viewing experience.
