Stone Media Films, today announced the production of a Romantic Comedy film on Millennials in Telugu. The film is yet to be titled and the working title for the film is “Project Victory”.
It is a romantic comedy for the millennials set in an office environment. Millennials are people born during the mid 90s and early 2000s. They believe in chasing their dreams and standing out, instead of fitting in. The parental influence is far lower now and millennials are confident, motivated and goal oriented to take their own decisions and navigate the ever-changing complex world. They know how to balance love with career, are adequately motivated and are sufficiently endowed with the knowledge to make their own decisions.
The classic conflict of career vs love has been picked and explored for its nuances. The situations and conflicts are relatable and loaded with fun and emotions. Every character has its own purpose and goal to take the story forward. The conflicts arise when their purpose and goals are challenged by situations.
This moviehas a uber-cool feel and stays current with today’s world. The film drama is authentic and appeals to the heart and mind.
There arefive songs in the film, each with a different genre of music; where the lyrics complements the genre of music and the story. Sufficient emphasis has been given on the lyrics, tonality and the purpose of the songs in the film.

Akella Peri Srinivas said “I believe movie making is all about story telling. During the journey, I realized all the core emotions viz. Joy, Trust, Fear, Surprise, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Anticipation have been there since ages. However, the stimulus to these emotions earlier were different and the same emotions are triggered by a different stimuli now. Coming from a corporate background, I have personally seen and experienced a lot of these emotions. So, I explored these core emotions in this current environment with the millennials and picked up an office as a backdrop. The entire subject has been dealt in a fun and entertainingmanner.The film will be visually rich, musically pleasing, accompanied with an excellent style.”
SharatGuruvugari said “When I read the script, I found that the story has been written in an engaging manner. At the pre-production stage, the level of detailing has given me the director’s view on how the film will be presented. I am convinced that there are some fantastic elements of cinematography that can be explored in this film. SharatGuruvugari is the cinematographer for the film. Sharat is an ace cinematographer with over 30 years experience in the film industry, having over 90 films, along with multiple awards to his credit.
The casting for the film is completed. The film is going on floors shortly and shall be released in 2018.
