Rowdy Fellow
Leads the Way
Come Friday, the fate of the
releasing films hangs in balance. November 21st saw a bunch of new releases but
Rowdy Fellow clearly came up aces and looks to be leading the pack. The film
attracted plenty of attention right from the beginning, not only because this
was touted to be the Nara Rohit's 7th film but because the audio launch was
graced by many big names including the Honorable Chief Minister himself Nara Chandra
Babu Naidu.
Living up to its expectations,
the film has received raving reviews from the first viewers. Audiences,
both from the industry and otherwise have called the film 'fresh' and `different'.
Director Krishna Chaitanya clearly put in many efforts to ensure that every aspect of the
film was done to perfection. While the film was a 'cop movie', it certainly had a unique
angle on the profession. Nam Rohit should be happy since the Tollywood sentiment of
having a hero's 7th film become a super hit seems well within reach. His performance
along with that of Rao Ramesh was remarkable. Rao Ramesh is slowly but steadily
climbing up the ranks to reach the level his father was once bestowed. Heroine 'Vishaka Singh
looked simple and glamorous. Specific mention should be made of the background
score which is very apt and comparable to many super hit films.
