Pochampally IKAT Art Mela Begins Vishakapatnam

Much to the delight of the fashion connoisseurs,'Pochampally IKAT art Mela 2014' a 7-days Hand Woven Eco friendly Handloom Products exhibition begins at Lions club of visakapatnam ,waltaire main road, Lions building,Ram Nagar, Visakapatnam.Tollywood upcoming Actress Bindu inaugurated the Mela by lighting the traditional lamp.The Expo will be on till 2nd December 2014.

“Handlooms are part of an age old Indian tradition- element of Indian culture and rich artistry. By promoting handlooms, we support the artisans and local community who have been passing on their skills for generations. Promoting creativity and originality, each design is a result of individual artisans creativity which is influenced by the local traditions and cultures”said Lava Kumar Bharata, Director- Pochampally Handloom Park.
